Rev Richard Higginbottom's initial training was as an archaeologist, before moving into the Anglican ministry. He currently works half time for the Church Pastoral Aid Society (CPAS), who produce some of the best mission resources around today, and the remaining half of his time is spent as Mission Networker for the Fife & Tayside Area, which has more churches than any of the other Mission Networker Areas.
Richard and his wife Heather worship at Perth Baptist Church and they have four children.
Richard is currently bust working with a number of Baptist churches in the area including Dunfermline Viewfield Baptist Church, Lochgelly Baptist Church and Inverkeithing. He is also involved in several other projects including exploring the possibility of new church plants, and is part of the core steering group of Mission Accompaniment (Scotland) - something which could be of immense value to the work of mission in the future as the project develops.
