Referendum Resources

The Scottish Referendum September 2014 -  The following resources have been published to assist our Baptist community in Scotland in thinking reflectively on the referendum to be held in September 2014.  The resources are drawn from across the Christian traditions in Scotland and focus on ‘values’ and ‘identity’.  There is a specific module for theological reflection on the issue of identity.  This is designed for use in discussion groups and Bible study groups.  The resources may also be used for workshops, day conferences, or even as resource material for worship. Local congregations will be best placed to decide how to use the material most creatively.  A copy of the summary version of ‘Scotland’s Future’, published by the Scottish Government is also available, as is the Briefing Note prepared by the Scottish Churches Parliamentary Office in relation to that document.
