Prayer Link for August
Sunday 7th
Aberdeen Christian Fellowship: Rev V Pillai. Please pray for non-church kids who recently attended our Step Out team’s “Deep Sea Discovery” Club. After the summer holidays, we are starting Mainly Music, which came out of New Zealand and is an outreach to families with pre-school children. The first half hour is an interactive music session including songs about God. That is followed by snacks and refreshments with an opportunity for free play for the children, and mixing and networking of the parents and those from the church who run it.
Adelaide Place, Glasgow: Rev Jack Quinn. Please join us in giving thanks to God for His continued leading over the years and for the new venture that we hope to undertake in partnership with Work Place Chaplaincy Scotland to develop a city centre chaplain that would extend our ministry into the workplace.
Pray that we would have the financial and people resources to further this vision and bring a fresh initiative into challenging the sacred/secualar divide that exists in our society and also in our churches.
