Copyright Law changes - What churches need to know

Law Changes – Churches in the United Kingdom will have additional licence requirements made upon them from January 2012.  Concessions made through the law (section 67 of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988) have been removed meaning every church playing music from a commercial ‘sound recording’ (CD, cassette etc) will require 2 licences as from Jan 2012.
