If we are honest with ourselves, there are lots of situations in life that we aren't sure about or prepared for. At BUSY, we want to help. Below are basic details about courses that we offer at present for youth, youth leaders, churches and mission. We will continue to develop these over the coming years. There is always the possibility of offering one-off courses on specific issues (e.g. Discipline, Child Protection, Creative Programming, Child Development, Faith Development, Creative Arts, etc).
What Every Volunteer Youth Leader Should Know is a 9 session course that covers the basics of youth work and ministry for those who give up their free time to help.
Purpose Driven Youth Ministry is a 5-session course that looks at the big picture of youth ministry and how all the pieces should fit together to build a healthy ministry for youth.
Keys and Pegs – 14 different sessions that explore the spiritual lives of young people and how to work with them. Each session stands on its own but, together, they build up to a powerful picture of young people and spirituality. As Christians we have been commissioned by Jesus to share Him with those around us. At BUSY, we want to help. We currently have material for three courses designed to help with this dilemma, and will be adding to this in the near future (especially tools to help children).
Christian Life & Children is a 6 session course designed to help church leaderships look at how to share the Gospel with both 'churched' and 'unchurched' children and to develop a strategy for becoming 'bringers' of children to Christ.
Contagious Christianity is an eight session course designed to help youth gain confidence and have tools they can use in sharing their faith with their friends.
The Art of Connecting is an 8 session course that helps youth to share through linking three stories - their own story, their friend's stories and God's story in a meaningful way.
eValu8 - Self Assessment Developed by the Centre for Youth Ministry and Time for God as a self assessment tool for youth workers in Christian contexts.

Reaching and Keeping Tweenagers Most youth workers know that keeping the 10-14 age group is especially hard, but what is it that turns 'Tweenagers' off church? And why do some stay? Based on extensive research this sets out to uncover some of the reasons behind one of the key findings from the 1998 English Church Attendance Survey, and how to apply it to your situation.
